Executive Director Kim Ihlenfeldt first joined Orcas Island Park and Recreation District in 2014 and has contributed to the district in various capacities including serving as Program Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Interim Director before taking on the Executive Director Role in 2024. With a background in local government and recreation management, Kim brings a wealth of experience in operations, program development, and community engagement.

When not on the job, Kim enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and camping, and volunteers with the local fire department.
