LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge that we are standing on the land of the first people of Orcas Island, the Coast Salish People, in particular the Lhaq’temish and Samish peoples, who are still a major presence in our Northwest culture and who have called this place home since time immemorial.

Orcas Island Park and Recreation operates Buck Park located at 673 Mount Baker Road. The park includes a world-class skateboard park, tennis and pickle ball courts, baseball and softball fields, a play ground, soccer fields, a running trail, an off-leash area, and a sand volleyball court. To inquire about facilities at Buck Park contact Orcas Island Park and Recreation District at (360) 376-7275.
