Orcas Island Park and Recreation District

Join us this Sunday, November 5th from 2:30-4:30 at the Orcas Athletic Center pool to splash around for some swimming fun! $5/family

There will be no evening drop-in Pickleball, Basketball or Volleyball this week due to gym availability. We’re back at it on Sunday, October 22nd!

The Scott Stamnes Memorial Skatepark at Buck Park is currently under scheduled repairs. The project, which is estimated to take about 3 weeks, includes removal of the cracked areas, resurfacing, replacing the coping along the edges, and applying a sealant on the park. Volunteers are still needed and will work alongside Grindline skatepark builders. The Skatepark will be closed during the duration of the project.

Lace up your sneakers, running club starts Monday, Oct. 2. We will meet at the Funhouse at 3:30. Runs will start and finish from the Funhouse and go for about an hour. We are always looking for adults or high school volunteers to run lead and sweep with the young runners.

 

As of Oct. 1st we are back in our office space in the northwest corner of the Funhouse building. We will be in the office from 9AM – 3PM then out in Buck Park for program activities. You can register, volunteer, or arrange to pick up uniforms at either location.
